Who we are

heygerry is operated by a sole proprietorship registered in Türkiye. We build Gerry, a voice concierge that website owners add to their sites. Contact: hello@heygerry.io.

This website

• The request form. If you send us a request we keep what you typed: name, company, website, work email and message, and whether Gerry filled it in for you. We use it to reply and to run Gerry on your site if you asked for that. We do not sell it or share it with anyone outside the people who work on your request.
• Talking to Gerry on this page. The microphone opens only when you click Gerry and your browser asks you first. Your voice is processed live by our voice partner, OloVoice, to run the conversation. We keep the minutes used and the actions Gerry took on the page. We do not keep a transcript of what you said.
• Cookies and storage. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. It stores one preference in your browser, the light or dark theme, and nothing else.
• Hosting. The site and its API run on cloud hosting and database providers under contract. Our current list of providers is available on request.

Gerry on a customer's website

When a website adds Gerry, the website owner is the controller of their visitors' data and we process it on their behalf. In plain words:

• Gerry reads only the page title, the address and the elements the site explicitly marked. No form fields, cookies, storage or free page text.
• Audio is handled live by our voice partner, OloVoice, to run the conversation. We store the number of conversations, the minutes used and the actions taken; that is what the customer is billed on.
• Our logs carry no page content: only action names, error codes and numbers.
• A data processing agreement and the list of sub-processors are available to customers on request, and before they sign.

How long we keep things

Requests from the form: until we have handled them, or until you ask us to delete them. Usage records: for as long as they are needed for billing and for the customer's own reporting. Conversation commands: settled commands are deleted a day after they were created.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Türkiye's KVKK you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. Write to hello@heygerry.io and we answer within a month. If you are a visitor on a customer's website, the fastest route is the website owner; we help them answer.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top and, for material changes, tell customers by email.
